We are excited to announce that we are already planning our 2025 Generation Wealth Conference, which will be held Saturday, April 26th in Chicago, IL. This annual event brings together Black, Indigenous, and other people of color (BIPOC) youth and families to learn about financial empowerment and build a stronger community. We are committed to making this conference even more impactful and accessible to all participants.

Conference History

The Generation Wealth Conference was created in recognition of the central role that the next generation plays in the strength of our community. Wealth is more than just money; it also includes the education and resources that individuals need to thrive. The conference is a community-based effort to support (BIPOC) youth and families in achieving a positive trajectory.

We held our inaugural Generation Wealth Conference in Chicago, IL in May 2024. The event brought together national speakers and focused on wealth-building strategies spanning career exploration and navigation topics to home ownership, entrepreneurship, and personal finance workshops.

Building off the success of our first conference in Madison, WI, M2M co-organized a financial wellness conference in Madison, Wisconsin in April 2023 with over 120 attendees.

Mission – The Generation Wealth Conference aims to engage, encourage and progress the BIPOC community by providing education, tools and resources that transform health, wealth and well-being for generations.

I enjoyed the 2023 Financial Literacy Conference and had several takeaways. The speakers were dynamic and recommended valuable books geared at money management, but more importantly a money mindset. It was made clear that working on your core beliefs is key before making any significant life changes. I personally made a lot of positive changes that will impact my quality of life. I have started to learn about investing when just over two years ago I didn't even see a clear way of getting out of credit card debt. Overall it all starts with changing your perspective and paradigms. Also surrounding yourself with like minded people to stay motivated.
